Our key account manager Sven Loewenich provides initial insights into current further developments and material trends for 2021.

Among other things, there are innovations in our well-known and popular VD PRO series. Our safety half shoes (VD 35-) and half boots (VD 38-) get a reinforced toe protection made of TPU in the lace-up and BOA Fit system variant, which additionally protects the shoe in the front area against rapid abrasion.

In addition, there are two real newcomers in this series: the VD 3503 SST SF low shoe made of ultra-light and smooth microfiber with two individually adjustable Velcro fasteners for ideal hold, particularly slip-resistant outsole, textile penetration protection and much more, as well as the matching VD 3803 SST SF low boot variant.

We also manufacture the two new Velcro models in white in protection class S2, VD 3573 SST and VD 3873 SST. The closures made of industrial Velcro stand for extreme durability and are designed for continuous use.

In footwear specifically for women, we round off our large range with a new half boot. XENIA, the big sister of our German Design Award 2021-winning NORA, scores with its lightness and flexibility and ensures improved protection against twisting.

Whether in the food sector, the pharmaceutical industry or in the laboratory: Our new breathable model BIANCA, completely in white, is a real trendsetter. Sporty, light and chic – flexible in use and with the familiar safety features.

Ready for half boots? With an elevated model, our Competition series, which until now has consisted exclusively of sandals and half-boots, is getting a further addition. The model naturally also includes our latest VARIO REBOUND sole technology and the metal-free, asymmetrical composite toe cap.
