GERMAN DESIGN AWARD 2024<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The German Design Award is one of the most prestigious international awards for outstanding product design. Since its introduction in 2012 by the German Design Council, it has honoured pioneering design achievements that combine innovation, functionality and aesthetics at the highest level. With its global reach and interdisciplinary approach, the award is regarded as one of the most important benchmarks for sustainable design. The highest honour – Gold – is awarded for excellent, holistic and forward-looking design solutions that set new impulses for entire industries. It is only awarded once or a maximum of twice in each category.<\/p>

In 2024, the ROBINIA safety shoe model from the GREEN LABEL series by STEITZ SECURA was honoured with the German Design Award in Gold. The international jury particularly recognised the successful combination of modern, fashionable design with the highest safety standards and a well thought-out sustainability concept. ROBINIA impresses with its responsibly selected materials and high recycled content: the upper material, lining, toe cap and laces are made from 100% recycled materials, while the footbed insole is made from 82% recycled materials. The ECO CAP protective toe cap contains 33% marine plastic, is fully recyclable and free from carcinogenic emissions. With its sporty, dynamic look, which is more reminiscent of a sneaker, ROBINIA makes a strong statement for modern, future-orientated safety shoe design. The shoe was honoured with gold.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

In 2023, a STEITZ SECURA model was once again honoured with the prestigious German Design Award – an award that stands for excellent product design worldwide. Since 2012, the award, initiated by the German Design Council, has honoured outstanding design achievements that combine innovation, function and aesthetics at the highest level.<\/p>

The model that got awarded was the OFFICER 51. It is a safety shoe model that combines classic business design with state-of-the-art safety technology. The model impresses with its timeless design, excellent comfort and highly functional details – a safety shoe that also impresses in a professional environment with its sense of style.<\/p>

OFFICER 51 sets new standards – with globally unique, individually weight-adjusted heel cushioning for optimum walking comfort. The choice of four widths enables a precise fit. A breathable genuine leather insole ensures a pleasant foot climate, while the abrasion-resistant, slip-resistant outsole offers maximum surefootedness. The design is rounded off by high-quality, supple nubuck leather with an elegant embossed texture – a product \u2018Made in Germany\u2019 that combines comfort, function and design at the highest level.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

iF DESIGN AWARD 2023<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

In 2023, STEITZ SECURA was honoured with the iF DESIGN AWARD – one of the world’s most prestigious prizes for outstanding design. Out of almost 11,000 submissions, the CP 4480 ESD safety shoe from the COMPETITION collection impressed with its sporty design, low weight and maximum wearer comfort. The metal-free S1 model combines a modern look with functional strength: non-slip TPU outsole, breathable mesh materials, seamless finish and an anatomically optimised fit in four widths.<\/p>

At the heart of the comfort is the VARIO REBOUND system – with the globally unique SECURA VARIO\u00ae heel cushioning and energy-return technology in the forefoot. The result: noticeable relief and a dynamic gait. STEITZ SECURA stands for security, convenience and design – combined in a model that has rightly been honoured.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

In 2021, a model from STEITZ SECURA once again impressed the jury of the German Design Award. The internationally renowned award has been presented by the German Design Council since 2012 and recognises outstanding design achievements that combine innovation, functionality and aesthetics at the highest level. The award went to the NORA safety shoe model, which was specially developed for the requirements and anatomy of the female foot. The jury particularly praised the successful combination of a sporty, modern look, excellent fit and high wearing comfort – with uncompromising safety at the same time.<\/p>

NORA is one of the lightest safety shoes in its class and sets new standards in design and ergonomics for women. Developed with the STEITZ SECURA multi-width system for optimum fit adjustment, equipped with the back vitals system and comprehensive protection – including electrostatic discharge (ESD) – NORA fulfils the highest requirements for safety and well-being in everyday working life. Thanks to the breathable genuine leather insole, the shoe ensures a pleasant foot climate, while the seamless construction made of ultra-light, smooth microfibre and the striking high-frequency embossing set both functional and visual accents. STEITZ SECURA was once again honoured with the prestigious iF DESIGN AWARD in 2020. From over 7,000 submissions from 56 countries, the international jury of experts selected the CP 4360 ESD as the winner in the discipline \u2018Product\u2019, in the category \u2018Industry \/ Tools\u2019.<\/p>

The safety shoe impresses with its sporty sneaker look in red, innovative technologies and sophisticated materials. Equipped with breathable textile, an ergonomic fit and the tried-and-tested VARIO REBOUND TECHNOLOGY, the CP 4360 ESD stands for maximum safety and comfort at the same time. A STEITZ SECURA model was once again recognised for outstanding design in 2018: The BLACK BEAST safety shoe received the internationally renowned Red Dot Award. The jury particularly recognised the successful combination of intelligent use of materials, high-quality workmanship and a modern, powerful look. BLACK BEAST impresses with its seam-free microfibre in a sophisticated smooth leather look. This not only makes it particularly lightweight, but also dirt-repellent, easy-care and hard-wearing – ideal for demanding assignments. Expressive carbon applications give the model a striking look with recognition value.<\/p>

Equipped with protection class S2 in accordance with EN ISO 20345, an aluminium toecap and a non-slip and abrasion-resistant outsole, BLACK BEAST meets all safety requirements. STEITZ SECURA was once again honoured in 2018 – this time not for a single product, but for the entire brand strategy. At the German Brand Award, the leading award for successful brand management in Germany, STEITZ SECURA was able to prevail against strong competitors with a clear brand vision, innovative measures and a comprehensive relaunch.<\/p>

The German Brand Award is initiated by the German Design Council and presented by an independent panel of experts from the brand industry and brand science. It honours brands that set standards through strategic clarity, creative implementation and long-term effectiveness – and not only strengthen their own profile, but also move entire industries. STEITZ SECURA impressed in the category \u2018Excellence in Brand Strategy\u2019. This award was based on four central strategic building blocks:<\/p>

The aim was to stand out from the competition in the long term, to be able to react flexibly to market changes and to position the company for the future.<\/p>
