On Friday, 20 June, we had the pleasure of welcoming around 90 participants from the district youth fire brigade to our premises in Kirchheimbolanden. As part of an exciting visit, the young people were given exclusive insights into the development and production of our firefighter boots.
Following a tour of our production facilities, our development team provided a clear explanation of how a highly functional firefighter boot is created. The young firefighters then had the chance to put the boots to the test in an action-packed obstacle course: walking over hot embers, standing in water basins and spraying water at a target wall – the boots had to withstand quite a bit, and they passed with flying colours.
After successfully completing the fire test, everyone enjoyed pizza and cold drinks, before rounding off the day with a fun fire brigade quiz in a relaxed atmosphere. Congratulations to the lucky winner who received a pair of our firefighter boots at the end of the event!
