Production

Made in Germany

A look behind the scenes reveals that, for us, quality begins long before a safety shoe leaves our factory. Experience first-hand how modern technology, precision craftsmanship and responsible action come together at STEITZ SECURA. Our entire production takes place in Germany – and for good reason. This is the only way we can guarantee the highest quality, sustainable processes and innovative developments from a single source.

Our production sites:

Kirchheimbolanden

Site 1 – Administration and finishing

The administration, development and part of the production from STEITZ SECURA are located at this site in Kirchheimbolanden. This is where our safety shoes are designed, developed and manufactured. The outsoles are produced and then connected to the uppers prepared in Pirmasens. In this production step, the individual components are assembled to form the finished safety shoe. This location thus forms an important interface between upper production in Pirmasens and the subsequent storage and delivery of the finished products.

Site 2 – Logistics centre and main warehouse

At the second site in Kirchheimbolanden, the logistics centre and the main part of the warehouse from STEITZ SECURA are located. From here, safety footwear and accessories are shipped to partners, dealers and customers worldwide. The main warehouse thus forms the key interface between production and delivery. The factory outlet is also located here, where visitors can purchase safety footwear directly on site and receive personal consulting.

Pirmasens

1989 Steitz Secura Pirmasens

In Pirmasens, a city with a long tradition of shoemaking, STEITZ SECURA produces a big part of their safety shoes – and this since 1989. Here, the upper part of the shoe, is assembled and shaped using a so-called last. During production, the last imitates the shape of the human foot. At STEITZ SECURA we use a natural moulding for the last, that representes a authentic shape of a foot. The natural moulding is an important basis for the AGR seal, which certifies the shoes as particularly back-friendly. To accommodate different foot shapes, STEITZ SECURA has a multi-width system: Four different widths are available for each shoe in each size. The finished uppers are then transported to Kirchheimbolanden for final processing.
