You can count on VARIO DYNAMICS. These styles have been proving their worth in use for more than 10 years, and this year the range is expanding to include further innovative additions. The new styles feature a modern design and are fitted with the highly slip-resistant TPU Athletic outsole. They are extremely lightweight and equipped with the SECURA VARIO® heel cushioning system, that dampens every step and keeps you longer active – perfect for everybody walking a lot at work. The water-repellent microfibre upper makes the shoes durable for everyday use. Some styles also feature a GORE-TEX® lining, which offers complete protection against the elements whilst maintaining breathability. This all-in-one design ensures versatility and makes the range the ideal choice for a wide variety of work environments.
Our new styles will also be available with textile puncture resistance (SF). To protect against sharp or pointed objects, such as protruding nails, a puncture-resistant midsole is incorporated into the footwear. STEITZ SECURA now offers a textile alternative to the traditionally used steel midsole. The close-meshed textile puncture resistance prevents sharp objects from piercing through – just like metal. According to the new EN ISO 20345:2024 standard, puncture resistance is indicated by an S or L designation:
S = tested using a 3 mm nail
L = tested using a 4.5 mm nail
